 Mechanical dock levelers are an economical alternative to the hydraulic dock. Although manually operated they are very easy to use. Simply pull the release chain located at the rear of the deck. The dock will rise and the lip will extend at which point it can be walked down onto the truck bed for safe loading or unloading. Our Mechanical docks are designed to provide many years of reliable service with minimal maintenance required.

 A Conversion Kit is used to convert a mechanical dock which is in good structural condition to a fully hydraulic dock leveler. Our kits are universal and can therefore be used on any make of dock leveler.
They are comprised of: - (1) Tested Power Pack
- (1) Push button control
- (1) 2” Main Cylinder
- (1) 1 ½” Lip Cylinder
- (1) Velocity Fuse
- (2) Hydraulic Hoses

 The purpose of the Holddown is to hold the mechanical dock leveler in its parked (closed) position and while on the truck bed. As forklifts move back and forth across the dock levelers, they cause wear and tear on the Holddown, making it a commonly serviced dock part. We have assembled a kit that allows easy replacement of the Holddown. Like our Conversion Kit, the Holddown is made to suit any type of dock leveler.
